The Jax Beach Mardi Gras Celebration and Pub Crawl is kicking off at 3pm on Saturday February 22, 2020. Nearly a dozen of the hottest locations in Jacksonville Beach are participating in the festivities with THOUSANDS of Beads and Prizes given away from all the locations including Lynch’s Irish Pub, Salt, Tavern on 1st Street, The Ritz, The Brix, Surfer the Bar, The Wreck Tiki Bar, Ocean Grill, Flask and Cannon, Hoptinger, Sneakers, Shim Sham Room, and Mangos! Grab your beads and collect your groups for what is the largest Mardi Gras Party in Jacksonville.

There will be different prizes and beads being given out throughout the night at all the different participating venues. For each Mardi Gras pub crawler who visits each participating venue, their souvenir map will get stamped. A fully stamped map will qualify each participant for a prize drawing at the end of the night!

This unique pub crawl will begin at your choice of three locations: Lynch’s Irish Pub, Sneakers or Tavern on 1st Street. Wear your most outrageous Mardi Gras outfit, catch beads, and have an excitingly fun time! Be sure to dress to win - a King and Queen will be crowned at the end of night!

Jacksonville Scene will be playing games and giving out VIP Scene Beads at Tiki Wreck Bar!

Tickets are just $20 (FREE with promo code: JAXSCENE) and include a wrist band for discounted drinks, giveaways and prizes, beads and more! This is a Mardi Gras-themed pub crawl and celebration, so you must be at least 21 years old to join in on the fun. If you are underage, please stay at home!

Each GA ticket ($20) includes:

*There will be discounted drink specials for everyone with a wristband, so do NOT lose it (or you will have to buy another one). This is your ticket to low-cost beverages.

We will be giving away beads throughout the day, but we encourage you to bring some of your own wild and crazy beads... for showing off and trading of course.

Dressing up is highly recommended! This is Mardi Gras people, and that's what you do at Mardi Gras, amongst other things. We will also be showcasing the BEST DRESSED at the end of the night, so bring your best effort and you could go home a winner!

Join us on Valentine’s Night as the Icemen melt our hearts and show some pucking love! Leave the thrills to us. We will laugh, cry and scream together over some drinks and hockey. We will meet at Intuition at 5:30 for pre-game drinks and to pick up our tickets then start heading over to the game at Veteran’s Memorial Arena between 6:30 and 6:45 PM where the real action will begin.

The Rotary Club of Jacksonville-Oceanside, will present the first annual “Bikes & Brews” event to raise funds for and awareness of their community-wide bike rack program.

Additionally, the event will feature the outstanding local micro-breweries and beer purveyors in the Beaches community as well as local history.

The event will be a combination pub crawl and scavenger hunt with participants encouraged to ride their bikes to each location.

The event will begin at Really Good Beer Stop and end with a party at Green Room.

When: Saturday, June 9, 2018

FAQ's

So, do I have to ride a bike?

No, but I mean, it’s in the name and you won’t have to look for a parking spot! C’mon, just do it, it’ll be fun! Please cross at intersections and obey traffic laws!

I’m super out of shape, can I still participate?

The total course is about 4 miles. You can go as slow or fast as you want and you’ll have lots of stops in between and you can take as long as you like, just make it to the party by 4 for the drawing!

Where do we start?

Show up at Really Good Beer Stop any time between 1pm and 2pm. Grab your mug and scavenger hunt card and get on your way! Spoiler alert, we’ll end at Green Room, just in case you need to plan ahead!

How do I win this thing?

It’s not a race BUT, if you complete your scavenger hunt card, you’ll be entered to win fabulous prizes! Believe me, you’ll want a chance to win these fabulous prizes! The prize drawing will be at 4pm.

Is this a family-friendly event?

Every location allows children at the times that we’ll be there. So, if you think your toddler will bring a little something special to the party, bring ‘em on!

How much beer are we talking about?

There are 4 beer stops and you’ll get one 5 oz. pour at each. You can buy more if you’d like but don’t forget to stay on course and definitely don’t forget to tip your bartenders!

What happens if it rains?

Well, it’ll probably be nice and refreshing on a hot day! This event will be rain or shine BUT if there are thunderstorms in the area, the event committee will either postpone or shorten the event and will communicate to attendees via email and the Facebook Event.

What should I know that I forgot to ask?

Good question, we have no idea. This is a first year event so we look forward to learning right along with you! Please be patient with us and enjoy this FUN event for a great cause—the Rotary Club of Jacksonville—Oceanside’s Bike Rack program!

The annual Tom Coughlin Jay Fund Wine Tasting Gala will be held on March 16, 2018 at the Wells Fargo Center.

The annual Wine Tasting Gala is a public social event offering guests the opportunity to taste cuisine from Jacksonville’s top restaurants, sample world-class wines, socialize with Jacksonville’s finest and enjoy bidding on auction items including sports memorabilia, rare wine and exciting trips.

Join us as we host the FSU Beach Volleyball team for a Scrimmage Saturday, Feb. 17th at the Jacksonville Scene Beach Volleyball courts between 6th and 7th Ave North (Near Casa Marina Hotel) at 12 PM. 

Following the scrimmage FSU coaches and players will teach a free clinic for everyone.  

This event is free.  Come out and enjoy the fun as we get some of the best players and coaches in the country right in our backyard.
